Gonzalo joined the AMI board in June 2014. He studied political science at the University of Buenos Aires, and worked in Argentina as a teacher and sailing coach, among other things. After graduating from university, he took a year off to travel and work abroad, and decided to stay in Winnipeg. Gonzalo co-facilitated “Finding Your Voice”, a storytelling and writing program for new Canadians at the Millennium library.

Adrian is a CPA, CMA (Certified Management Accountant) and currently works in the Department of Sustainable Development as the Acting Manager of Comptrollership. He earned his MBA degree from Ateneo de Manila University in Philippines. Adrian speaks English, Tagalog, Chinese (Mandarin, Taiwanese and some Cantonese), and a little Spanish.

Judianne was born in Manila, and was raised in Winnipeg from the age of 4. She has been an active presence in the Filipino community since her late teens and takes pride in the program she created called Dalagita, a public speaking contest that empowers youth to speak up and take action. She joined the board in 2015 because of her passion in helping communities and creating cultural connections.

Margarida has been an AMI board member since 2011 and is a leader in the Brazilian community of Manitoba. She came to Canada through the Family Class stream in 2000. She is a Home Economist with a PHEc, and a Master of Science degree in Family Social Sciences and Financial Education. She has served on several non-profit and for-profit boards. Margarida is an entrepreneur, long time investor in Winnipeg Real Estate, and works with real estate sales and management.

Sijian was born in China. She obtained her two Master degrees from Lund University in Sweden. Sijian used to work as an investment consultant and volunteer in an international school. She came to Winnipeg in March 2017 and joined the AMI board in June 2017 because she would like to give back to the society and be a role model to her kids.

Manpreet Pal Singh is an Indian native with diverse experience in the fields of Advertising, Branding, Marketing and Fitness. Manpreet’s experience working with various advertising agencies enriched his understanding of the client requirements, industry, market and communication. During his rich experience working for DHFL Pramerica Life Insurance he had an opportunity to see the branding strategy implementation from a different angle. Manpreet graduated from the University of Delhi in Commerce stream in 2005. He is also a qualified Digital Marketing Specialist with certification from NIIT Imperia, New Delhi, 2011.

Patrick Kabongo was born in Democratic Republic of Congo and immigrated to Canada as a skilled worker in November, 2017. Highly skilled IT and Cybersecurity Professional, Patrick Kabongo has also engaged in different community projects since he landed in Winnipeg.
Patrick’s background in Business, Management, and Leadership, and his interest in community development is an asset to Altered Minds Inc. He joined the AMI board of Directors in May 2018.
