History
Altered Minds Inc. traces its roots back to 2005.
It was established as a non-profit organization by our Executive Director and Founder, Grace Eidse, a proficient figure with diverse expertise spanning teaching, teacher training, language assessment, and program development. Holding a Bachelor and Master of Education, Grace is not only a seasoned educator, but also a global nomad with a deep love for cultures and languages.
The inspiration for our name, “Altered Minds,” is rooted in the concept of learning as a transformative process. It reflects the belief of our founder, Grace, who posits that our minds are shaped and enriched through travel, and the insightful stories and experiences shared by people from all corners of the globe.
Through these interactions, we evolve, becoming more open-minded, more understanding, and respectful.
With this founding philosophy, Altered Minds Inc. was born and continues to bring diverse experiences together, fostering an environment that celebrates learning and cultural exchange.
Our impact
We foster well-being and integration through innovative, responsive programs.
